Bone & Biscuit is excited to announce that our new store in Lethbridge South is now open! Read on to learn about the store owners as they share their story.
1. When do you open?
We were planning on opening on February 29th 2020, but we were too prepared and too excited so Bone & Biscuit in Lethbridge South opened midday February 27th!
2. Where are you located?
We are located at Unit 20, 3521 Mayor Magrath Drive South in the same parking lot as the Superstore and Canadian Brewhouse.

4. What’s your name?
My name is Megan. My mom Tracy and I own the store together. This is actually our second location. She runs the store in the Crossings in West Lethbridge and I will primarily be staying at this location.
5. Why are you passionate about pet care?
I have always had pets. I consider myself a bit of a crazy cat lady. I currently have 2 cats, they are my whole world. I am passionate about feeding them the best quality food and providing them with the best quality care.
6. What’s your experience been like owning Bone & Biscuit Lethbridge?
It has been an exciting roller coaster! So much fun but also way more challenging than we expected! We wouldn’t have it any other way though!
7. Why did you decide to open a second Bone & Biscuit location?
Originally it was just going to be me running the business. But then we thought this would be a perfect career for my mom, Tracy as well. So we decided we could each run a store. Dad is pretty excited for the day he can retire from the oil industry and spend his retirement days at the Bone and Biscuit.
8. Who else has been integral to the opening of the new store?
My dad, James, my sister, Emma, my brother in Law, Brandon and my Great Aunt and Uncle, Chris and Eric. This truly is a family run business. It’s quite fun actually, whenever we have events in store the whole family comes out to support us. I don’t know if mom and I could do this without the help of our family.
9. Will you have any pet employees?
My mom, Tracy has a small dog. His name is Angus, I like to call him Wee Angus. I will be bringing him to the store occasionally. One day I will have my own dog that I will bring to the store. I think my kitties would be too afraid.
10. What makes you the most excited about your new store location?
We will be able to help more customers and their pets by having another location. I am excited to meet all of the new puppies and kitties.
