Whats your name?

Who else has been integral to the store opening?
This store is family owned and operated. Our team consists of Mom (Tracy), Dad (James) and Daughter (Megan). And our pets, Angus and Nellie have been a huge inspiration to opening the store.
Do you own any cats or dogs?
Tracy and James have a 2-year-old, 7lb Biewer Terrier named Angus. He got his name as Tracy has an affinity for the Scottish culture and loves the irony of the name as people usually use the name for large breed dogs. Angus may be small, but he is Mighty. Angus is full of energy and does not stop all day until around 9:30pm when he knows that it is bedtime and will sleep like a rock for 9 hours! Angus loves to play fetch, if he could he would play fetch until the end of time! Angus cannot wait to become the official store mascot and treat tester.
Megan has a 9-year-old domestic shorthair cat named Penelope nicknamed Nellie for short. Nellie had lived at the shelter her entire life until Megan adopted her when she was 7-years-old. Since being adopted Nellie has genuinely become royalty in Megan’s house and has been dubbed, Queen P. She loves cuddles and kneading her mom or any soft blanket in sight. When she is in a cuddly mood, which is most of the time, she starts to drool like crazy and will then proceed to shake her head and fling the drool all over the place. Nellie loves to eat all the food and likes to use catnip recreationally.
What has inspired your interest in owning a B & B?
All three of us have had many pets throughout our lives and are incredibly passionate about all animals. We chose the Bone and Biscuit as their beliefs and values align with ours. We are eager to continue expanding our knowledge on pet health and nutrition and can not wait to help our customers with the well-being and health of their beloved pets. We want our pets and our customer’s pets to live long, healthy and happy lives.
Angus and Nellie hit the jackpot now that you run a specialty pet store! What kind of toy or treat do Angus and Nellie love?
Angus Loves to play with his Fetch ball of course and also some stuffed animals. He likes his rope too. Angus generally eats almost any kind of treat but especially a 100% protein treat. Nellie loves catnip and Limited Ingredient treats.
The nearest dog park?
The nearest dog park to our store location is Riverstone Dog Park which is about 4.5km away. After a big day at the dog park be sure to stop by our store for a tasty treat for your pup.
What is the best advice you could give new pet owners?
A biologically appropriate diet is very important for the health and longevity of your pet. Do some research on what your pet is supposed to eat and come by the store for help on picking out the right diet for your dog or cat. We have pet foods that cater to all budgets.
Thanks for the spotlight Tracy!
