February 20, 2014 – Raise the Woof Dog Night
The Prince George Cougars are proud to announce plans for their second annual “Raise the Woof” Dog Night on Saturday March 1st 2014, when the team plays host to the visiting Victoria Royals.
A fan favourite, this evening is great fun for dog owners and animal lovers alike! Fans who bring their dog to the game will sit in Section P of the CN Centre and all dogs will receive free admission for their own seats – and free dog treats as well!
The game night is sponsored by The Bone & Biscuit Co. and the concourse level of the CN Centre will feature a variety of local pet businesses and animal organizations presenting interesting kiosks and skillful demonstrations.
“For our inaugural event last year, we had over 50 dogs attend the game and their presence made that game so much fun for everyone that we could hardly wait to plan this year’s event”, says Brandi Brodsky, Cougars Vice-President. “The dogs last year were really well behaved, and it is a great chance for people to bring their furry family member to a public event. We are also really happy to have The Bone & Biscuit Co. as our game night sponsor. Pet owners will enjoy browsing their display and the other many pet-related kiosks that will be at the CN Centre on the March 1st.”

The Cougars are also excited to be launching a Raise the Woof Facebook contest with free tickets to the game as prizes! To enter, fans can simply visit and “Like” the Cougars Facebook page, and then post a photo of themselves with their dog on our wall. To make it even more fun, fans are encouraged to wear a Cougars jersey in the photo, or have their dog wear an item of Cougars merchandise. Winners of the Facebook contest will be announced on Friday, February 28th. Additionally, fans are invited to bring in a printed copy of their photo to the Bone & Biscuit Co. store, located in College Heights, and automatically receive a free dog treat product!
Tickets for the game are available at CN Centre’s Ticketmaster location, Studio 2880, online atwww.ticketmaster.ca or by calling Ticketmaster’s Cougars’ Charge-By-Phoneline at 250-564-5585. All participating Raise the Woof fans will need to sign a waiver when they purchase their tickets and are asked to ensure that their pet’s shots are up to date on game day.
